Love Stories by Beowulf

“Beowulf gives honor to love."

- John White, Chicago Sun-Times

“I find weddings a joy to photograph. Weddings, like portraits, are chances to share what is special about people. And weddings are full of opportunities to capture those things which I believe are among the most important in life: Love, beauty, happiness, nurturing, gratitude, and laughter."

A graduate of New York University, Beowulf's passion for photography has led him to work with outspoken figures across many creative fields. The son of a linguist and a mariner, he is well traveled and multilingual (speaking English, German, and Spanish).

Beowulf's portraits have appeared in publications such as Entertainment Weekly, Esquire, L'Uomo Vogue, New York Magazine, Newsweek, Spin, Variety, Vogue Nippon, and The Wall Street Journal. His work has been exhibited in the International Center of Photography and in other institutions across Europe and the United States.

Beowulf's love of visual storytelling drives his joy of photographing weddings. His wedding images have been published in the likes of Brides, Elegant Bride, Glamour, Hochzeit (Germany), The Knot, The New York Times, Nozze In (Italy), Today's Bride (Canada), and Wedding Day (England). Beowulf has documented unions in six countries so far, each with the intimate and narrative style for which he is known.
